Yipeeeeeeee for FREE tickets!!!!!!

Yipeeeeeeee for FREE tickets!!!!!!

I was able to watch the ADVANCED screening Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince last night….for FREE!!! I can share with you the many ways I get my movie / concert / play tickets for FREE! Mag eenjoy ka na, may savings ka pa! San ka pa? More of those after the jump…

Join a raffle.

I’m not a fan but I have had my luck in raffles. I’m sure you’d get lucky one day too!

In my old office, the managing director always raffled off the sweetest concert tickets in town the day of the concert itself. I won 2 concert tickets already. The 1st was the F4 concert back in 2003 or 2004. Yes twas the Meteor Garden craze. I wasn’t a fan so I sold my tickets. Sayang naman. Some fan was happy with the tickets plus I made some extra moolah. The 2nd concert ticket I won was the VIP ticket for the Beyonce concert in 2007. I wouldn’t consider myself a super fan. But I really wanted to catch Beyonce in action. I trooped to the concert of Beyonce herself at the Fort…in HEELS! Hindi ako prepared but I so wanted to catch her live. Super worth it!

Join a contest.

I wanted to watch The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee for the longest time so I booked my “date” and bought my tickets early…like a month before. Talk about excited. It was too bad because I stumbled upon  Spotlight Manila’s contest too late. Shucks. A contest so simple that I could’ve won! Hehehehe!

I haven’t tried out joining radio contests but it’s worth a try. Hey it’s just a phone call / text…and a lot of hopin’ (cross fingers!)

Pull some strings

I guess its the perks of the job that our brands get to sponsor movie premieres and we get to get tickets for monitoring purposes. So cool noh? It’s one of the little perks that make up for a stressful job. Hehehehe. Free tickets for free stress? Hmmm…maybe!

I can’t even remember all the titles of the movies of I got to watch for free. If I remember correctly, Memoirs of a Geisha was one.

Act poor and ask your friends to treat you!

This is the tactic I use the most! Oh no! Buko na ako! Hehehehe! Well, I am “poor” meaning nagtitipid all the time to enjoy other “more important” stuff like travel, learning and, yes, eating. Hehehehe. So I just strategically look to my super generous friends who would do anything to enjoy my lovely company…including paying for my tickets. Yey for them! Thanks friends! Hehehehe!

With your being resourceful, you can just about watch anything you want for FREE! Hehehehe!

Gwapo mo Harry! Mwah! Tsup!

Gwapo mo Harry! Mwah! Tsup!

So oo akong fan, kinuripot ko si Harry Potpot. BUT at least, I didn’t support piracy. Kinuripot…in a more resourceful and legal manner. Hehehe!

Promise I won’t spoil the fun for those who haven’t catched the movie. Malamang kasi bukas pa sha showing! All I can say is that the book is ALWAYS better. But I was super entertained. Imagine coming from my last movie which was Sharon Cuneta and Ai-ai de las Alas’ BFF! Hehehe!

So do you get free tickets too? I’d love to hear how. Para magamit ko din. Hehehe!
