How to get here from Ayala?
Since I already shared how to get to Ayala from the Fort, I am also sharing an alternative to get to The Fort from Ayala. I also used to take the taxi from Ayala but, again, I needed to slash my expenses and get there at half the price or more.
So after much searching, I finally found the new way to get to The Fort

How do I get here from The Fort, Taguig City???
I used to ALWAYS take a cab to get back to Ayala,Makati City when I had meetings / class at The Fort, Taguig City. Or I’d make sure I could hitch a ride with someone who was on their way there. I did this since the ride cost me around Php 75 to Php 120…one way, depending on the traffic. So that amount could actually afford me a meal already. Damn.
So after months of searching for an alternative means of transporation to get me there. I finally found a way…which only cost me: Php 20!!! Here’s how…

Do not leave anything important behind!
The back story of this trip is this: I was just a back-up traveler.
Wednesday afternoon, I received a text message from my friend E.B. who was asking me if I had any plans over the weekend. I said I did not have any so she asked me to give her a call at the office. Then she told me her situation that she scheduled a trip to Batad Ifugao and couldn’t make it. So she asked if I could join on her behalf. And I gave it some thought like a day and a half…so I eventually decided to join
Hehehe! On my trips, I usually super duper prepare and do my homework. But since I had limited time to do so (I had to work in between pa) I just relied on the itinerary shared by Travel Factor, the tour organizers.
But after going through one hell-of-a-trip (in a good way), here are some must bring items if you plan to go to Batad, Ifugao one of these days…

I need money lotsa lots of money!
I know, you guys must be wondering, what da hell do I do to earn money nowadays?!? I definitely do not have a regular monthly salary to look forward to like I had in my previous job. I definitely still have bills to pay. I have feed myself (when I go out). I have to keep myself clean (I buy my own toiletries for my special needs because I prefer natural locally made stuff). You get the picture…I need money. And I am not exactly rolling in it. Plus I am not as blessed as other people who have their parents to help sustain their regular expenses while in between jobs.So I have to make it work…I have to make money.
Before actually getting into the nitty gritty of what I do to make money, I learned some mindsets one needs before entering the world called FREELANCING…

photo c/o I Hate Valentine's the Movie site
I used to seriously believe in Valentine’s Day. But I was brainwashed by my better half into thinking it is a capitalist holiday. I mean, it is really. Imagine a day where everything you could give your special someone on a normal love-filled day suddenly becomes super duper unreasonably expensive just because it’s Valentine’s Day. AYAYAY! Thanks but no thank you.
But then, there’s this tiny spark in me that still believes in the spirit of Valentine’s Day: romance and mush. Hehehe. Gimme some of that! Even just a tiny bit please? Hehehe. Girly girl pa din!
So since unbeliever si boyfriend, I just daydream of what-could-bes on our Valentine’s Day. Plus since I don’t want to be a victim of capitalist gimmicks, I want to celebrate a day of love and romance the wais way. And here are some tricks of the trade that have crossed my mind this past week…
