Trackpad's a mess. BOO! (Photo c/o www.laptopmag.com)

My dahling’s (my macbook pro) trackpad has been a mess for the past couple of weeks. It does seem to follow my drags, clicks, swipes and taps all the time…like it used to. So I tried figuring out the freaking problem by asking around my loyal Mac friends and sort of troubleshooting as far as my powers would allow me too.

Then I just gave up and I couldn’t take the trackpad issues anymore. So I decided to get professional help. Of course, I did my rounds of the authorized Mac Service centers since my dahling is still under warranty (Thank Apple for great warranty!). How is your MBP 13″ Battery Life?

REAL 7-hour battery life?!? Photo from www.everymac.com

As per Apple, the Macbook Pro 13″ has a 7-hour battery life. I was soooo amazed with it! But unfortunately, the battery life has dwindled over just a few months.

My 4-month old Dahling (Yes my Macbook Pro has a name) has been having problems. Battery only lasts me 3-4 hours :-(

Good thing my Dahling is still under warranty. THANK GOD FOR APPLE WARRANTIES! woohooo! So thankful for it :-)

So I will have my battery replaced next week while I am out for a 7-day seminar. My supplier says replacing the battery takes 7-days.  Having separation anxieties already! :-( Boo!

Are you having the same problems with your Macbook Pro?

For some time now (it’s been almost a year since I do think too much especially for big ticket items), I’ve been lusting over getting myself my OWN laptop. The Yes-No heated argument has been ping-ponging over and over and over and over…Of course, with my budget refereeing the heated match.

I actually want an Apple Macbook  primarily because it apparently isn’t affected by viruses that can obliterate your PC in a blink of an eye and it’s very, very, very pretty. And that would easily cost me 80-90 grand if I get a unit with the works.

As I’ve justified all, if not most of my purchases, I will be sharing with you the reasons I think I should and should not get a laptop:
